Strategy
Tideborn Command
★★★★☆ 4.4
Tideborn Command asks you to grow a harbor town while managing a small fleet against the weather and rival ports. It's slower and more thoughtful than most mobile strategy fare, and that measured pace is exactly why it stuck with me. Decisions matter, and bad ones cost you a real session's worth of recovery.
The interface handles a lot of information gracefully. Pinch to zoom, tap to queue, and a clean overview panel keeps the numbers legible on a phone screen. I never felt like I was fighting menus, which is a low bar that too many strategy games trip over.
It sips battery during calm turns and spikes a little during big fleet animations. There's a low-detail mode that helps if you're deep in a long campaign away from a charger.
