Hollowreach Expedition
Hollowreach Expedition is a slow, moody adventure about poking around forgotten places and solving the environment like a small puzzle. There's no combat pressure and no timers — just you, a map that fills in as you wander, and a genuinely lovely sense of place. I played most of it in short evening sessions and it never lost the mood.
The controls lean on tap-to-move and simple swipe gestures, which suit the pace perfectly. Interaction points are clearly marked without being intrusive, so you're never hunting pixel-perfect hotspots. It respects that you're playing on a phone.
It's light on the battery, which surprised me given how good it looks. The art does the heavy lifting rather than raw effects, so even my older device kept up without heating up.
